NO.3  Our progress report

Over five hundred patients have visited to our clinic from opening of our clinic in nine months.

Most patients have been troubled by the joint pain. For example, some patients who have low back pain are unable to walk independently, to negotiate stairs, and/or to play tennis or golf.

The grand tea masters who have knee pain can’t sit square during the tea ceremony. The players of Tai Chi or Aikido have not been sat well on their performance with a feeling of strangeness.

The musicians have shown up for a consultation of their unpleasant sensation during their performance because of finger numbness, shoulder stiffness, and/or low back pain.

Nearly all of them have struggled very hard to interpret accurately by physicians and get only little assists¬ (some analgesics and so on) to relieve their pain.

On the other hand, patients with disabilities due to post-stroke or intractable diseases visit for the functional trainings along the arthrokinematic approach-Hakata method (AKA-H) and the articular neurological treatment (ANT).

Because in Japan the rehabilitation services are insufficiently institutionalized for chronic stroke patients and patients of rare intractable diseases, they are not supervised and guided by physicians and experts in various fields how to manage their impairments.

Under public nursing care insurance they are served only day-care trainers and home-visit care/training therapists who don’t be organized and are put in charge of the implementing of guidance in the fields.

The therapists couldn’t consult to physicians about the clinical condition and pathophysiology of the patients and could provide the conventional technique (assistances to get up, to walk, and to void) in their own way.

We carefully consider the service programs after evaluation of a patient along the way of AKA-H and ANT. Most patients become getting relief from joint pain after treating ntra-articular movement of the synovial joints and return to their own life-style.

Patients who suffer from post-stroke and intractable diseases act well in spite of their disabilities by diminishing the troublesome due to the abnormalities of intra-articular movements along AKA-H, and live in comfort by getting their trunk balance after monthly ANT.

We have a lot of thanks for our patients to share a part of their happiness.
